Learner Policies, Privacy and Community Standards

These policies apply to learners using Pinnacle Institute of Professional Development Limited’s online courses, scholarship programmes and learning platform. They explain eligibility, accounts, privacy, assessment, certification, intellectual property, responsible AI, conduct and complaints. By enrolling or using the platform, learners agree to follow these standards.

1. Eligibility and Adult-Only Participation
  • Adult learners only: Courses and scholarship opportunities are for people aged 18 or above. Children must not participate or supply personal information.
  • Eligibility: Applicants must meet the published requirements for their chosen course or scholarship cohort and provide accurate, verifiable professional details.
  • Verification: Pinnacle may verify employment, institutional affiliation and eligibility before enrolment or certification.
2. Account Security, Privacy and Learner Records
  • Individual accounts: Each learner must use their own account and must not share login details or access another participant’s records.
  • Privacy: Personal information is used only for enrolment, programme delivery, learner support, assessment, certification and legitimate administration.
  • Data minimisation: Learners must not upload information about children or unnecessary sensitive information about other people.
3. Learning, Assessment and Certification
  • Progress: Learners must complete the required lessons, activities and assessments within their allocated learning period.
  • Pass standard: A minimum overall score of 70% is required for certification unless a course page states a higher requirement.
  • Certificates: Certificates are issued only after completion conditions are met and may be withheld or withdrawn where identity, assessment or eligibility information is false or unverifiable.
4. Intellectual Property and Course Materials
  • Protected materials: Course presentations, audio, assessments, branding and other learning materials remain the intellectual property of Pinnacle or the identified rights holder.
  • Permitted use: Learners may use materials for personal professional development only. The learner workbook may be downloaded where the course dashboard expressly permits it.
  • Prohibited use: Copying, recording, republishing, selling, distributing or sharing restricted course content or login access is not permitted without written authorisation.
5. Responsible AI, Academic Integrity and Data Protection

Artificial intelligence may be used only as a responsible support tool. Learners remain accountable for checking accuracy, protecting confidential information, acknowledging permitted assistance and submitting their own work. Plagiarism, fabricated evidence, impersonation, unauthorised collaboration and the uploading of personal or confidential learner data to public AI systems are prohibited.

6. Community Conduct, Accessibility and Enforcement

Learners must communicate respectfully and must not harass, discriminate against, threaten or disrupt others. Pinnacle aims to provide reasonable learning support and accessible alternatives where practicable. Policy breaches may result in a warning, restricted access, removal from a cohort, certificate withdrawal or account suspension, proportionate to the seriousness of the matter.

7. Fees, Refunds, Complaints and Contact

Course prices, scholarship terms, payment arrangements and any refund conditions will be stated on the relevant course or offer page. Scholarship places have no cash value and may be reassigned where a selected learner does not start or remains inactive. Questions, accessibility requests, privacy enquiries or complaints should be sent to enquiries@pinnacleinstituteltd.com. Complaints will be reviewed fairly and confidentially where appropriate.
